You know movies that are just weird? Like there is a bunch of surreal stuff going on for absolutely no reason? Or a movie just has a very bizaar scene in the middle of it? That almost kind of fuck with your mind? What are some of the weirdest you've seen?

The boat ride in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory. Just wtf was that? It was like the movie went from a kid friendly film to a horror movie. And when it ended, no one ever mentioned it again.

Pink Elephant Scene from Dumbo. It scares a lot of kids but I was always enchanted by it. But it is random and very bizaar. Especially in the context of the movie. (Yeah, Dumbo was drunk) but it was still a little weird.

Halloween is Grinch night. This movie was weird. It's a prequel or sequel to the movie How the Grinch Stole Christmas. The song Grinch is going to get you has a ton of weird and surreal images through out it. I was trying to find a youtube video of it but can't <.<

I like some of those bizarre movies. The one that sticks out in my mind is Mulholland Drive. It's a David Lynch film, so that should tell you a lot. From the cowboy to the old couple walking into the blue cube, to the weird Hollywood conspiracy X-Files-type group, it's out there.

Alright, we all know George Lucas has been going downhill with the three Star Wars prequels and Indiana Jones Kingdom Of Crystal Skull. Well it started well before those movies. In 1986 George Lucas was an executive producer to a weird horrible movie called Howard The Duck. I won't go into detail on some of the scenes but trust me it's bizarre. What's even stranger is how it got a PG rating or even a rating at all. Sure George dismisses this film today, but what the hell was he thinking back then? He even personally paid $2 million for the duck costume in the movie. It's considered one of the worst films of all time and I can see why.

As already mentioned, David Lynch is King of strange films - Mulholland Drive is very surreal, but even it is relatively normal compared to other Lynch films like Lost Highway and Inland Empire.

Eraserhead as well.

Did you know Mulholland Drive was originally supposed to be a pilot for a series on ABC? Can you imagine that movie translating to a TV series? In the U.S. no less, where people don't like to think about their TV shows? And I have to wonder what ABC's people where thinking when they agreed to let David Lynch make a series for them. THey had to know that it wouldn't end well.

Madaraki, I think that scene from Felidae that you posted the other day was one of the weirdest for me :lew:

Another one (even though I loved the movie :awesome:) was in Beavis and Butt-head Do America, when they get lost in the desert and start hallucinating o_O I haven't watched the movie in far too long, but I remember that scene being really crazy XD And I agree with the Willy Wonka boat ride, I thought that was kind of out of place too >_>

I recently saw an old Johnny Depp movie called The Ninth Gate. It's about Satan and all that gravy shit. Anyway, there were numerous scene's in that movie but the two that stuck out the most to me were the part by the canal (sp?) when they were fighting over a book and the woman walking around with Depp starts floating down the stairs. They didn't focus much on it but still I kept rewatching that scene because I just couldn't stop laughing because it looked so weird. The other scene was at the end when Depp and the woman are having sex while this giant castly looking place is burning in the background. It wasn't exactly the scene itself that bothered me. It was the look on Depp's face as he orgasmed. It was just goofy looking.
