(Note to mods: Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but I couldn't decide where to put it.)

I check odd news stories every day, it's a habit of mine. I found this today, and I have to admit it's one of the weirdest and funniest news stories I've ever read. A shopkeeper in Aviles, Spain was counting his money for the day and was VERY surprised when he found a Euro with a picture of Homer Simpson on it instead of King Juan Carlos. Follow the link for picture goodness.

I had to share this, it was too amusing!

Hahahah, I would so love to come across a coin like that. We should have pictures of cartoon characters on pound coins instead of the Queen. >_> Like anybody is really bothered about her anyway. D:

It made me lol xD
That would be well good if you found a Homer Simpson Euro in your cash register, I wonder if you could spend it though, it would be hard to pass it off as an authentic Euro coin. :wacky:

This reminds me of a story when someone payed a Dairy Queen employee a $250 US bill for their food, which they don't even make, and the employee ended up giving change back for it.
