Stereotypes, And Why I Hate Them

It does make sense that a group of people wit similar backgrounds and circumstances will react in a similar pattern to the same stimuli. That is what research is based, but it hasnothing to do with stereotyping, as it uses data not anecdotal evidence and prejudice.
 
I would not be surprised if it was just marketing. In the modern era, as much as one's culture is defined by what products one consumes, it would not be surprising. Advertisers simply target a demographic and market the products accordingly; it may well be a heavy contributor if not driving force behind the stereotyping as it exists today.

As for myself? My disposable income goes into food and precious metals (gold & silver; I don't trust US banks). Try to stereotype me, I dare ya :dry:...

too late for that, but I will not post it here. Some of the jokes made between friends do have a tendence to sound weird when out of context.
