Woah, not a lot of threads in this subforum.

Any steam games you're currently playing? If so, discuss/steamID pl0x

Team Fortress 2 is still my most played game in the last year, spending most of my gametime on the pwnshop server which has all these crazy-ass mods on it. Just spending some good time with heavy before the new update comes in and everyone starts using him. It'll be a good time for spies.

I go through a fair few mods as well, Pirates, Vikings and Knights 2 as well as Zombie Panic Source are probably my faves from the ones I've played. I've looked at Zombie Master, Insurgancy and Synergy in the past but they're not ones that I'd rate too highly.

TF2 Obviously, along with Half Life 2, Portal etc. Well from steam, mainly Valve games.
Also TF2 is pretty addictive as you gotta grind to get unlock weapons and stuff. Sniper, Heavy and Pyro are god tier. Although being an engineer is awesome, when other engies help each other out in fixing their sentries...

God I love playing Badwater Basin with spy, it's like backstab heaven. Almost always the top player as a defensive spy by 20-odd points. Also Steel is officially my favourite map to play on, except when blues spawn camp at the door to point E with an sg which is shit but there's always constant pressure which makes it fun as hell.

Again, thanks to a pc which doesn't suck, I've actually been able to get on and play some TF2. I've been really enjoying the pyro, basically being sneaky and suicidal in equal measure. Soldier, SNiper and Heavy are pretty much my other classes, although it really annoys me when you end up in a map like BAdwater, on attacking side, and I see 4 snipers on my team....

Yeah that happens a lot on TF2, logic and teamwork kinda goes out of the window in a fair few cases. Engineers for example, not setting sgs to cover easy routes to the intel or having 4 on the first section of Badwater covering the top area really well but not the track where the cart goes.

I swear 90% of my time as engineer is spent covering up holes in a defence rather than because I wanted to play as it. ¬¬

*nods*

Worst case was indeed Badwater as the attackers. Of an 11 man team we had:
2 pyros
1 Demo
1 Heavy ( me )
2 Engineers with sentries back at the canyon...
2 Medics, healing the engineers
3 snipers covering the tight alley after the turn towards the second point, rather than the roof
And lastly 2 spies

I couldn't understand why not one of the medics would uber me and at least let us try and take the roof to get a better foothold, even to build sentries at that point.

Although I have to admit I do love defending Badwater, it is a rather pyro friendly map and you're usually set for an all out rammy if the attackers get towards the final point.

Defending is always more fun in TF2 and I prefer the maps that have one team defending and another attacking. I'm now finally starting to use Pyro a bit more now as well since he's one of my less used classes with only 25 hours or something, it's cool playing a new class and getting a new way of playing it. Dominated someone with a reflected critical rocket the other day and dominated them with it, so nice. ^^

But my TF2 time might be lessened now with Left 4 Dead, absolute joy to play with friends or at least the ones with the ability to understand that friendly fire doesn't hurt people. Versus is such a blast when working as a team or against a shitty one. :P

Well, when i'm not playing FF , i'm playing CS 1.6 hehe, i think it passed like 5 years since i played it for the first time ^_^
