Right then, I thought I would post this up as a couple of people who I have spoken to that have finished the game didn't know this, so here is a thread for those of you who have finished the FFXIII storyline and think you are done :D

Once you have saved your game after watching the credits, reload this save and you will start in the room before the fight with Barthandlues III and Orphan. You can then leave Eden and go back to Gran Pulse. From this point onwards you get to do LOADS of CP farming, digging up chocobo treasures and completing those harder Cie'th marks that you hadn't done.

Also of note is the extra crystarium level you will now have unlocked. Whereas before Orphan it was only possible to reach stage 9, you can now reach stage 10, an immensely expensive stage supplying thousands of HP per role as well as hundreds of each stat.

I would say it would be best to only do some of the makrs after this point, and thigns like the Adamantoise can inflict over 10,000 damage in a single hit, so you WILL need this extra crystarium level in order to survive their opening attacks.

Hope this helps those of you who have finished the storyline and thought that was the end of the playability :D

(Also it is only possible to get the Role Master and Master Seal trophies/ acheivements this way)

you mean open up lvl 5 after beating the game and no not hundreds of satues at lest not for me it did not only a very few tatues however like for snow, with just commando gain 6khp so ya tons of hp gain

I actually finished everyone's Crystarium's the other day, the Growth Egg (Mission 55) was a godsend doing it. As it's about 30,000 per normal stat boost, then increases to 60,000 per each one.

I found the Adamantoise in Eden good for farming CP, since you can get Platinum Ingot's (sell for 150,000 Gil) and you can (with quite a low chance) get Traphezodrons.
I'm suprised (and somewhat annoyed) that Hope STILL doesn't catch up to the other characters HP wise as he finishes with 17,000. (If I remember rightly)

Still, that's quite a nice sum and with that magic stat he makes up for it. :hmmm:
Even if my main party is Light, Vanille and Fang. :wacky:

No, he means level 10.
If you open your menu it'll tell you your current crystarium level, it's still level 9 when you get to Orphan, but after you kill it the "Crystarium Expanded!" message appears. (Along with the Superstar trophy if you 5 Stared the final bosses)
This is the final Crystarium level, but the final levels are level 5 for each role, so you're half right.
Also, I think Snow finishes very close to the 30,000 mark on HP (without any HP boosters) and Sazh is a close second, with Hope finishing with the least of about 17,000.:hmmm:
