[Spoiler] Question for those who have completed the game

Hi guys, just wondering. I've currently just got to Grand Pulse, the bit where you gain Alexander and it introduces the missions you can do to help the L'cie who failed their focus.

ANYHOO, i was just wondering how far i'm actually through the game? I thought i was pretty far, but when i think about it, i still don't seem to be anywhere near such things as Firaga or Curaga? Usually you get these someway before the end.

Does the game start to open up more from here? Or retain quite a linearness to it?

Chapter 11 opens up massively compared to the rest of the game, as for how far through you are, I'd say about two thirds of the way through since Chapter 11 is probably the longest.

All being said, once you finish the game you can go back and up your Crystarium levels which in itself takes HOURS, literally. I've been CP grinding a good 10-20 hours after beating the final boss and no where near finished upgrading D:

Glad to hear it!! I put hundreds of hours into FFX and loved every minute of it. The whole game reminds me so much of it.

I try and forget FFXII as much as possible.

Any tips for things i should really try and upgrade on? I'm still a bit annoyed that Sazh appears to be the only one who can get haste for the time being!
