I was looking in the manual, and I saw it said "EVERYTHING WAS PEACEFUL UNTIL ONE HOSTILE FAL'CIE AWOKE." I just started Chapter 12 so you can tell me any spoilers up to there. No Chapter 12 or 13 spoilers please... but I'm pretty sure the hostile Fal'Cie they're talking about is B

It's the pulse falcie they found in bodum that made serah a lcie
 
I personally think its
Vanille. I havent confirmed this yet, but I think its her. She and Fang were woken up and all the events started.
Im not sure yet as nothing has been said yet. Im only on chapter 10 so far and Im just guessing lol.

If thats true, fair enough. I do get confused with the amount of Cie wording in this game lol.
 
I was the same at first. It takes a bit of adjusting I admit. I honestly think the game's main events start because
Anima woke up and converted Serah.
