Just out of curiosity, why are there so many spiders on the site? And if you can identify them as spiders, can't you block them as well? I mean I guess they don't hurt anything but it is kind of annoying when you go to "See Who's Online" and half the people listed aren't actually people. That's the only real problem with them... other than it's just not "tidy" or "neat". Notice I put this in the Help Desk, not the Suggestion Forum. I'm wondering why they're here... not suggesting anything.

Things is, spiders are a very good thing for a website. It means that the search engine like Google and Yahoo will be more likely to put this forums near the top of their results if they find a matching topic on the forums, which means more members. So, the more spiders, crawlers, etc. the better.

And you can filter them out when your in the who's online part, just scroll down and choose members from the "display" menu, and it will only show members.
