Spiderman 3 wasnt that bad, it was the stories building up to the baddies that made it a bit boring. Maybe if someone were to hire the sinister 6 and all these baddies turned up without all the stories of how they got their powers, then it would be interesting. I agree with the clone saga stretching over two films comment, that would be cool.
 
You can't have 6 random enemies showing up with powers and not be told anything about them, we would know who they are but for the average cinema goer they won't have a clue.

SM3 suffered with its poor and often rushed character development and this sort of plan would be worse, it's a decent idea to work with but it would be very difficult to make work within one 2 1/2 hour movie.

I see where your coming from.

What about Electro, have people forgotten about him.
 
Electro would be a villain I would consider using, as long as it's the Ultimate version and not the 616 one. Same with Rhino, loved the mecha design from Ultimate Spider-Man.
 
all I know is that they will bring the lizard in one of the movies, and the green goblin back. from the way the movies have been written, those two i am most sure of.
and another possibility which would be quite interesting would be to use the jackal in one of the movies.
the one villain i really can't see in the movies would be carnage. if he was put into a movie, the story will revolve more around venom than spiderman.
