Assuming you have the international version as Mark said, the Dark Aeons drop BHPL armour. You can also fight Shinryu to get Wings to Discovery. This item gives that ability. Another way is to bribe a Great Marlboro....but that eats up alot of gil.

The what....? Is that just platinum? They don't change them once they reach platinum anyway so you should be all set.
Depending on where you live depends on wether you have dark aeons or not, you can also get wings to discovery by doing the chocobo race at Remiem Temple or also as Gabs said if you don't have the dark Aeons.

Learn the skill bribe on the sphere grid, and use it to bribe the marlboros, Im pretty sure its summat like 300,000 gil a time (although Im not too sure) once you have caught one on the calm lands I think you can bribe them repeatedly in the monster arena and get them that way. It's pretty pricey though 
Greatest hits means it's the American Version's equivalent to Platinum; when a game sells rather well, it gets put onto Platinum, Greatest hits or Ultimate hits depending on what region it's in. Going in chronological order, from my list it's PAL region, NTSC Region, then NTSC-J region. To top it all up, don't get the added opportunity to fight the Dark Aeons. Sucks for you.
