Speaking of the ending of FF 8

Out of all the signature FF series I found #8 had the best ending.......you had no idea if Squall even survived the ending till the Very end of the song in the ending credits......and even Laguna got married to that lady (Forgot her name) but that ending made me cry cuz you did not know that he was gonna ask her to marry him....it was cool how he grabbed her hand and walked away and next thing she knew.....a ring was already on her finger.....id like to know how Laguna pulled that one off .....even Seifer had a good ending in this game as he was looking up at Ragnarok at the end proud of everyone and happy for everyone but ashamed at what he did at the same time.....I found Quistis to be odd at the end though...Irvine was funny at the end.......cid well hes Cid.......Selphie had a cool ending too but what really got to me was the ending when after all that time you finally got to see Squall Lionheart smile which he only does once in the game.....he finally found a place and people he could call home what you all think

Yeah.. VIII had the absolute best ending... i love the end... i cried at the laguna part and (yes, i am that much of a nerd...) i found a way to tape the ending from my tv.. so now i can watch it whenever i want!!

I love the bit when Zell is choking. But I do think that Final Fantasy 8 does have the best ending.

i thought the ending was pretty smart, how they wrapped up all the loose ends and did it in the form of a video recording by amateur recorders. Zell finally met a girl he could probly get a date with too! i personally thought that Squall's smile was too different from his personality that it kinda changed his demeanour. >.< now I sound like a nerd...
