Some Sites Won't Load!

I haven't been able to get here on FFF using my laptop (started yesterday) and also found out that other sites like myspace, weather.com, dictionary.com, and a few other sites that I normally visit would give me a "Problem loading page" message. Some other sites (like yahoo mail) would work though, so I find that very odd.

I use Firefox and even tried it on IE...it still won't work. I've restarted my laptop several times, did a virus scan on both my anti-virus program, etc. Nada. I can't seem to figure out what the problem is...although I've searched online and found out that others have also had the same problem in the past, but I just can't figure out computer language, so can someone please explain to me what to do...?

There are a couple of reasons that might happen. Usually when it happen it's because of your antivirus or firewall. If you're using Norton Antivirus, i'd assume that's the problem. Norton is shitty. You're better off with McAfee. They're essentially the same.

Could also be your ISP. You could try hooking it up to other connections and see if it'll run in other locations.

Also, if you're using Vista with Norton and Windows Defender, I guarantee that's the problem. Uninstall them.

If that's not it, you can always try and bypass your router if you're using one. That may help.
