some quick questions

hey. i did a search but i couldnt find any threads about this, was just wondering if anyone knew when a patch or something to support directx 10 cards (8800gtx) will be coming out? at the moment the game doesnt look all that great and i cant read any of the menu items :(

also would anyone be willing to meet me in game and show me how everything works and get me started with a character? i can delete my current character and create a new one if needed

Hey everyone getting ff11 for myself soon but quick as well is anyone else playing on vista and or a laptop?

another thing I'm probably going to be hume so i probably will benefit from going into Bastok right?

Final Fantasy XI has just recently begun supporting Vista. As for notebooks, it's works. However, you need a fairly decent notebook to run the game; dedicated video memory is needed.

And yes, you'll want to go to Bastok if you choose Hume as it will give you a ring that gives you several status increases.
 
i am a final fantasy XII freak and i play almost all day evey day on a vista, saddly i cant help you, im sorry.:|
 
omg, im sorry but i wasent able to find any FFXI website that would help you with your stuff. sorry i couldent help.>_<
