ok i just thought of this why not give people 1% exp if the lose in a battle with an enimy that is no more then 10 levels higher basically like edison said when he said that he found out a certain number of ways not to make a light bulb

I've said it before, I'll say it again. DOES NOT COMPUTE.
 
This is an RPG issue I'm guessing, so I'm gonna move this to the RPG Cafe for the Directors to deal with.

The EXP is setup in the RPG software. It is set that if you beat something 6 levels or more below you, you get 0 experience. When the monsters are a higher level than you, they give more experience. But you need to beat the monsters to gain this EXP. That is just how the game software is setup.
 
Theoretically, we can change this in the next version by adding set EXP gains for each monster. However, we can't change the EXP needed to level up from anything other than 100, so you'd have some level-up insanity if we actually tried that out.

It would be fun, though. :P
 
The set EXP thing in RC1, should probably only be used on Bosses. A one shot deal. Using it for regular monsters, could lead to very bad habits.
