Have I fallen asleep in class before? Yes. Does it occur often? No.

Most of my professors allow students to sleep, stating that it's our own money and time we're wasting if we choose to sleep through lectures and valuable instruction. With that in mind, I make an effort to stay awake, though it's tough during my early morning classes...

i

I Won't Fall Asleep In calsses AT ALL!!
Cause first I sit in front of the teacher so if I slept maybe she will hit me on my head>_<
Second there's 2 girls hates me in the class so when I sleep maybe they will tell the teacher and she will hit me on the head too!>_< Dammit!

and that's all but I feel sleepy in some calsses like Science UHH I get sleepy quickly!!:| and when the teacher ask me something I was like " ?"

Well, since school will be finally over for me in 2 days, I used to fall asleep in class when I was in 10th grade. It didn't occur very often though.

the only class i fall asleep in us AP u.s history and its because my teacher has the most boring voice/teaching style out any person to walk the earth. oh and we watch movies all the time so i definitely am assed out during movies.

I only ever fell asleep in class once and that was during a particularly boring Algebra lesson.

Here, at the end of your 6th grade year, you take a math test that determines which math class you will be placed in upon starting 7th grade. You end up in either Math 76 (below average), Math 86 (average), or Pre-Algebra (above average). I scored high enough to be placed in Pre-Algebra but had trouble keeping up and was bumped down a level. Thusly, I took Math 86 in 7th, Pre-Algebra in 8th, and Algebra in 9th.

I took said math class with both 9th graders and 10th graders, kids who'd been placed in Math 76 their 7th grade year. I figured out why rather quickly -- they were dense. So dense, in fact, that, in 10th grade, they still didn't know how to divide fractions. So incredibly dense, that the teacher often had to revisit topics I'd gotten in under a week, some of which I'd actually learned in 6th grade or so.

It was ridiculous. These kids, who were a year older than myself, were stuck on the simplest of topics which left me to sit and daydream most of the time. What was worse was the fact that I had Algebra after lunch and was already tired as it was...add in the fact that we reviewed the same thing for days in a row and it was bound to happen sometime.

all my teachers cared...but hell i did it anyway. They would yell, id wake up. 10 mins later i was out again. F my teachers...except the hot russian 23 year old with the perfect body and the nice round... :D-

F'real, I can't remember a class I didn't fall asleep in. It could be the most interesting class in the world, but I hardly ever sleep at night so I'm dead tired when classes roll around.

My worst run at it though was the beginning of my Sophomore year in High school when I ahd English class right after lunch for 7th period of the day. Teacher kept a running tally of the consecutive days I fell asleep in class and it got up to 13 days; and this was in the beginning of the year in September. The teacher tried everything from opening windows to let the cold air in to wake me up, to sitting behind me when she gave her lesson. I find it as one of my life's great accomplishments because that teacher is known as some-what of a hard-ass, but my sleeping habits didn't really give a shit.

I sleep at night, sometimes I sleep too long and miss a few periods and on rare occasions full school days.

Lol… If there was ever a class that had lecturing in it, I fell asleep.

Noooo...... Make that pretty much every class.

Almost every damn day in a particular biology class of mine one semester. The teacher's idea of teaching us was to roll in a television, turn out all the lights, and make us watch videos all week and test us on them every friday. This was the first class of each morning too, so if you're tired as all hell and get sat in a dark room with a boring video droning on and on with a teacher who doesn't give a damn because he just makes his students do nothing but watch videos all week anyhow, tell me you wouldn't have been real tempted to throw your backpack on the top of your desk and lay your head on it to crash out haha.

I sometimes would sleep in class but I usually draw in class. In 11th grade I slept in my first class. It was American History, *twitches* but my teacher was crazy and he didn't care.

In my first year of college I usually slept through my first classes. They were two hours long each. I usually got four hours of sleep every night. I use to play WoW, my old guild raided until 2 A.M, and I had to get up at 6 or 8.

I never fell asleep in class but i fell asleep in an assembly once. And i was sitting in the front row in full view of the teachers and headmaster :monster:

I've done it a few times, some of the teachers in my secondary school just bored me, they almost always had no clue what they were rambling on about and they just failed to keep me focused

Once, I fell asleep during our Chemistry class and we were having our examination. I'm always sleepy but I rarely sleep in class.

I ALMOST did.TWICE.Once in English and in Spanish.As I remember it,it was so quiet and boring,and I was really tired,yawning every 10 minutes.I'm glad I didn't fall asleep,though.I would've missed out on a whole lot! ^_^
