I originally posted this in Scrutator's Sig Shop, but that was before I realized that there was a whole section devoted to sig requests and the like. I just happened to follow a link to Scrutator's shop. (No offense Scrutator, you can still do it if you want. I like your work too.). I wouldn't mind a few people giving me some sigs, so I can pick my favorite. I smell competition

I would like a Zelda related sig, with matching avatar.

I'd like it to be wider than it is taller, not too much unlike the one I have now. Although, let the picture dictate the size as much as is necessary. Try to keep it small enough to catch your attention, but not make it distracting. In my opinion, tall sig's tend to do that more than wide sigs, so no real restrictions on width as compared to height.
If you feel that text will look good with it, I'd like an "Old English" font, something along the lines of this:

that simply says "OmniscientOnus" (leave out the "'s obviously)
The text is purely optional though.
For the avatar I would like to use this picture:

Although I'd like the color scheme to match the brown scale from the sig picture. If at all possible, can you accent it with the dull green and purple the same way the sig is? Preferably the same exact colors so it all ties in nicely. I'd like to keep the focus strictly on the Master Sword in it's stone (The small one with the "writing", not so much the large pedastool). I'd also like the avatar to come out square, as in the same width and height, unless it looks goofy. Aesthetics should obviously be your main determiner as to how you create them.
Time is not important, though I already can't wait to have it. I'm willing to wait for quality. So take however long you need. Usually when I ask people to do artistic things for me I say "let your inner artist be your guide, make me something you want to make" because it usually comes out better that way, plus, I'm not the picky or pushy sort. However, this signature has taken me a little while to come up with, and I've bounced many ideas around and for a change I want something that I picked out.

EDIT: Completely disregard my current signature. I was just messing around with Photoshop a little bit. I still would like to see what you guys come up with, and I still need a matching avatar, which I don't know how to make.
