To tell you the truth the only thing I find similar to the ronso and na'vi are that they are blue.
Most people are inspired by other movies or books so when they are making a film some things can be similar to the original but changed enough not to get sued and I assume some company's get permission to use similar people in there own movies/games.
Square Enix don't always come up with there own idea's either, in final fantasy 10 your told about high summoner's, well one high summoner is named gandof he is the summoner that sealed Qactuar in stone he also fought sin and left the scar in the calm lands, Now to me gandof sounds like gandalf from Lord Of The Rings who was a powerful wizard so I take it Square Enix just used this as a reference just to fill in a bit of the story
