Should Squall and Aerith get together in a future KH game?

What the ... why the hell would they do that, when Cloud is just around the corner? Squall has Yuffie, let Cloud get Aerith then let Cid get Tifa 
Yeah but if Cloud disappears, so would Sephiroth, and we wouldn't want that would we, anyway, at the end of KH1 you see Aeris and Cloud together don't you... so you never know
Very funny that you brought that up. I actually just finished playing a second time through on KH2, and I noticed that Aerith and Leon/Squall had a bit of chemistry. Yes, an intresting subject indeed. I too would not mind at all, but I hope in KH3, we get to see a bit of Zidane, Garnet, and Kuja as well.

I think they should be closer as friends but them getting together is just a little off track from the real peoples thoughts about each other.

Didn't you get the jest that throughout all of Kingdom Hearts Cloud was searching for Aerith and Hades promised to help him? Honestly, Cloud and Tifa are best friends and nothing more. Aerith is in love with Cloud and I know Cloud has feelings for her as well. Why else would he be searching for her? Tifa (according to Nomura) in KHII is not really human, just light. She offers Cloud her light which he thoroughly rejects and runs from Tifa. Yeah...true love there
Cloud and Aerith were meant to be together, not Cloud and Tifa and as for Squall and Aerith..hell no. That is not staying true to the game at all...not at all... IMO
I Agree with LA. I say bring Rinoa into KH3, they insinuated that she exsists in the KH world in the ending of KH2... and Squall and Rinoa is such a cute couple, just like Cloud and Aeris are... actually I see Squall and Rinoa as what Cloud and Aeris would have been if Sephiroth hadn't killed Aeris.
Totally. They did insinuate that Rinoa exists in KH and I think it would be awesome if they brought Rinoa into KH3. Rinoa and Leon (Squall) belong together. He should not be with anybody else, especially not Aerith. I saw Aerith and Leon's chemistry more like a really close friend/brotherxsister type connection. Not lovers....Cloud and Aerith belong together, Leon and Rinoa belong together. The idea of Leon and Aerith being together is just ludicrous.

I'm both Cloti and Cleris, so I don't think Squall and Aerith should be together later. Besides, as others have pointed out, Rinoa is most likely coming soon (at least it looks that way), and Squall/Rinoa is one of the few canon FF pairings, so they will probably keep it that way. Who knows.

Anyway....No Aerith And Leon shouldnt get together - i agree with everything LA and Edea say.
Plus if Squall gets with anyone other than Rinoa if she enters KH3 the FF8 fans will revolt, and square wouldnt wanna ruin that fanbase.
