There are a lot of things in this world that should be laws. List 'em, explain 'em, and discuss 'em here. Although I'm going to list semi-funny ones to start off with, I think of them constantly... so this will probably either get sillier or more serious as time goes on.

1. WARNINGS ON TV
- We get warnings for every single pill commercial and late night sex tape commercial. Cigarette commercials warnings and "do not attempt" warnings are in almost every other commercial. However, when we freaking get the "Mom, have you ever felt dirty... down there" commercials... no warnings. And they only seem to come on when you're eating. While we're on the subject, my penis is big enough. Stop trying to sell me pills. My big wang wang is one of the things I have over asians! Stop trying to take that way from me! There should be a law, the same as any of the ones forced on cigarette commericals, to ban that crap... especially during eating times.

You still have cigarette commercials? Hell, they were banned here YEARS ago...But I agree with the 'feminine itching' commercials. I also think there should be warnings on some programme previews. Like here in the UK channel 5 loves their 'freak-show' documentaries about such unfortunate people as a kid born with his face looking like it was mashed up and spat out....or the kid who's skin is falling off, or the conjoined twins who share a body but have their own heads.....they always preview these shows when I am trying to eat my dinner and it churns my stomach. A warning would be nice so I can switch off or switch over.

You should recieve a fine from the police if you try for people that aren't worth it. If you're being an idiot and putting too much work into a friendship or relationship that just isn't worth it, you should be fined for your stupidity. If the best that relationship can be is shit anyhow, then why do people try so hard to begin with? In fact, in a perfect world, there would be a long long list of a million stupid things that were finable. Stupidity thus being banned. lol

There should be a law about who is allowed to have/ make kids. I've witnessed some totally unfit parents (druggies, rapists e.t.c) who have a child, and either abandon the child, or ruin them with their horrid influence. Some people aren't fit to take care of themselves, far be it for them to tend to children!

Aaaamen!! I can't stand those poor babies all cracked out. There should be stiff peneltys for such. Decapatation..... Life with no parole... There should also be programs governmetly mandated for women who get pregnant while on drugs. And give these women a better chance to get off the drugs before major damage occurs to these kids.

Another "warning" for thoses kids across seas commercials. Man there sad. I can't stand seeing that either.

Death to bitches!

also, maybe there need to be character references before someone gets a drivers license, or teachers comments should be shown. Im sick of drivers who drive like theyre invincible but end up killing someine else.

There should be mandatory "common sense" classes that follow certain actions.

For example, when someone calls you on a land line, and then goes on to ask "where are you?", as if you managed to move your phone to another continent or the like, should be forced to take the class. Unless they are so anal that they simply must know exactly what part of the house you are in.

Anyone who requires anything to be properly explained to them more than twice should be forced to take this class. If you don't get it after the second time, you're not going to, so stop asking me.

When someone announces they have been electrocuted, they should be forced to take this class. Electrocution involves death 100% of the time. It's the definition of the word. Look it up, don't worry, dead people have tons of time on their hands.

We also need to make a law banning the "Warning" labels on products that just point out the obvious.

For example, if you don't see a problem with drying your hair while in the bathtub, I don't see a problem with you being electrocuted.

Unless you specifically asked for cold coffee, you need to assume that it is hot.

If you can't comprehend that a loaded weapon will discharge when used properly, then I can't comprehend why you shouldn't spend life in prison for firing it at someone.

If you don't know that a toilet brush shouldn't be used for personal hygiene, then I don't know why you should expect to smell nice.

If you can't comprehend that pepper spray may irritate eyes, then I can't comprehend why you shouldn't use it on your mashed potatoes.

If you haven't made the connection that irons are hot, and therefore shouldn't be used to iron clothes while you wear them, then I can't make the connection to needing a skin graph after you burn yourself with it.

If you can't see that you can't properly drive with a windshield sun shield in place, then I can't see that you can't properly drive your vehicle after you plowed it into your house.

If you don't see any complications arising from stopping a chainsaw with your hands, then I can't see any complications arising from performing your own surgery to fix your hands... with your own mangled hands.

If you don't see why the wrapper on a fruit roll up shouldn't be removed before consuming, the I don't see why you shouldn't eat it.

If you feel that eating plastic toys is a good idea, then I feel that you should be allowed to savor the taste while you choke on it.

Finally, if you OR your child believe that your/their Superman costume will bestow the powers of flight on you/them, then I believe that you/they should stop by my house during your flight and say goodbye. But remember, to fly that far you'll have to take off from a very, very high building.

Unfortunately, law and common sense are conflicting.

For example having sex under the age of consent is illegal.

I lost my virginity at 13 to a 31 year old woman, do I feel exploited in any way? No... Did I know what I was doing? Yes.... would I like to see her prosecuted? Hell no.

As a reverse situation, a friend of mine (who is now a lawyer) lost her virginity at 13 to a much older man, I immediately tried to comfort her but she said she knew exactly what she was doing and, like me, didn't regret it. Im not condoning these things, Im just saying that common sense and laws are in conflict.

Heres another example, In my work I am ORDERED to wear long sleaved shirts, even in summer, why? because of skin cancer (or rather the fear of the company being sued)

I am in much more danger of overheating and passing out than sun cancer, actually, as a smoker I am in more danger of dying of lung cancer!

Fuck the law makers, at least until we find some people who actually give a damn about us, and are not covering there ass.
