I've been using Photoshop Elements for just under a month now, so I'm still finding my wings. Up until today, I've been making small avatars. Today I've completed two sigs, shown below.
Can you please offer me some constructive criticism? :3 And yes, the pictures that were supposed to be smaller did turn out rather large in this forum >.> Sorry about that.
(They are in order from oldest to newest)

You seem to be starting off very well that's for sure.

I'm assuming that the ones at the top are meant to be avatars?

The first thing I would suggest is to keep them below 150x150 as it tends to look a lot better in that size area.

I really like the Rikku one! The gradient looks really nice and the lighting is a bit bright but still comes out fine. The text is also very pretty but I think that the main thing I can suggest about this one is that there is a bit too much negative space floating about over on the right.

Negative space is a hard thing to work with if you want it to be intentional in my opinion.

The signatures look like you've got the hang of them too. =)

The focal is well established and you've blended them in reasonably well! THe bottom one is my favourite.

The girl and guy are blended in very well and the lighting on them looks great! The effects are well situated around them and the colour scheme looks very pretty.

You've chosen awesome font for the text and the colours match that of the colour scheme.

You're doing very well so far!

Keep it up and post more soon!

Thanks for that x3 Very helpful. I'll make sure to consider what you've said next time I try making a sig/avatar ^__^
