thats why you have to take out mindy as fast as you can
she only has 2 mil hp so if you do tidus blitz ace on her
then entrust to tidus then blitz ace then entrust then blitz ace again shes dead :)

There is a Shinryu in FF5 too and I explained how to beat that one >:\

no i doubt ribbon works against eraser as it is a much simular attack to ruby weapons whirlwind on ff7. however if u kill ur 2 bad characters it wont use eraser. but 1st ur 1 character really needs to be able to hit 99999 and have high def and magic def maybe even auto shell and protect armor. then just attack til it dies. well thats wat i do.

yeah this Shinryu is the second to last Monster arena boss unlocked once you gather 5 of every capturable creatures in Spira. He's like...2-5 million (forget exactly) but you can only use Tidus, Wakka, and Rikku since they are the only underwater capatable battle characters in FFX.
 
no wait^ thats ultima buster requirements
i cant remember how to get shinryu but i got it fairly quickly so it must be lttle requirements :)
 
Ah you're right, that is Ultima Buster I am talking about. For Shinryu you need to capture at least 2 of each:

Splasher, Achelous, and Maelspike

No doubt that these creatures are in the Mt Gagazet caves up top where there is a small water area that is accessible to Tidus, Wakka, and Rikku for fighting. Yeah, that's Shinryu's requirements. There we go.
 
Yeah that would make sense cause they are water monsters ^_^
but by the time you get em on your first trip youll be too weak to fight them lol
