In the end when the Shinra Troops Kill Zack, I swear Tseng said he wanted Zack to come back alive because he had some letters from Aerith?
So why did The Shinra Troops Kill Him?

Damn Shinra Troops!

Well there bastards thats why. Well Zack betrayed shinra right? So the shinra troops got back at him and killed him. But if Zack did not die ff vii would have been even more amazing. Zack is the best male character. Even Cissnei did not tell Zack her real name.

Ummm no one really knows what Cissnei's real name is. We never actually find out. But in before crisis VII you get to name her whatever you want. Ummm well actually Sephiroth hated Shinra. But Zack I think wanted to be with Aerith so they went after him. She was the last of her kind right?

We've already got a thread on Cissneis name within the Crisis Core section

He escaped with Cloud from Nibelheim. ShinRa wanted the test subjects found and destroyed

The troops got there before the Turks did and he died. It would have completely ruined FFVII had they got to him in time, so tbh, they were never gunna were they....

oh so they killed him because he wanted to be with Aerith?
if yes I HATE SHINRA!!!!!!

and So Tseng wanted to save Zack?

Nope just like Kelly said they wanted the test subjects destroyed. Also when Tseng was spying on Zack and Aerith. Well at the beggining Aerith hated soldier but she thought Zack was really nice and they eventually fell in love. But things changed when Zack got a girlfriend. He had soldier and Aerith. Just listen to Kellys post. The Turks wanted to save Zack. But remember when Cissnei wanted to fight Zack. That was quite a weird scene.

I dont understand
AArrgh :S

Forget Aerith was mentioned, that is irrelevent :ffs:

When Nibelheim was burned down, Zack and Cloud were kept in ShinRa mansion and experimented on for like 4 years, until Zack eventually busted them out

ShinRa wanted to keep these experiments hush hush( remeber the town has been restored to how it was prior to the fire, with ShinRa emplyees acting as towns people denying all knowledge of said fire), so as they learn the test subjects have escaped (Zack & Cloud) the company order the ShinRa troops to hunt them down and kill them

They manage to kill Zack, but Cloud escapes.

In a nut shell, yeah

although they assumed that he'd die eventually anyway because he was deteriorating, I forget what those reports said now - which is why they never bothered to pursue him

oh but he never dies, cos in the end he was on a train and he said "My Name Is Cloud SOLDIER First Class" right?
and what is deteriorating?

Zack and Cloud were test subjects under Hojo.

Cloud developed Mako addiction from the experiments and his health was therefore deteriorating. Zack was still alive and well.

The Shinra soldiers probably only focused on Zack because he was still a threat. They probably thought that Cloud would die anyway from Mako addiction as he is unconscious for nearly half the game anyway. So it was simply: "why waste resources on him?"

Of course, Cloud lives as Zack's legacy and the protagonist of FINAL FANTASY VII.

Haha

at least your interested in the story I suppose you have only just recently played Final fantasy 7 i was exactly like you the first couple of times i played it Crisis core obviously i understood the story but FF7 sometime can get a little confusing

it is true what Rikku and MLFY are saying. One he was killed because he wanted to be with Aerith. Second, they anailated Zack because yes it is true, he did betray shinra after he learned about the experiments that were going on. This is why he probably deserved to die, sorry to say, but that is why shinra troops are grimy. It is the SOLDIER way.

I only wish Zack would have used his phone/computer thing he had whenever Kunzel(sp?) would ever send him stuff. It probably wouldnt have made a difference if he did or not, but I just wish he would have tried and seen what would have went from there. Maybe things would have ended differently, maybe not.
