Come on, you know you love her. Anybody here listen to Shakira?

Personally I think she's one of the very few good singers when it comes to the female pop singers. For one, her voice isn't all that strong/powerful (like Christina or Beyonce), and she has a sound all of her own. You know, it sounds more original. Plus she doesn't need a million plastic surgery operations in order to look gorgeous.

I think my favorite songs are "Underneath Your Clothes", "Illegal", "Objection Tango", "La Totura" and "Hips Don't Lie".

What about you guys?
 
Don't forget "Whenever, Wherever" now.

And "Don't Bother" y "Animal City".

Shakira is AWESOME... one of my favorite musical artists. And it's so ironic how everyone is jelous of her ass-shaking skillz, but she said she was overweight in Highschool. Just goes to show you anyone can work it if they try.

I personally didn't like "Whenever, Wherever". It got kinda irritating after awhile.

But Don't Bother was <3.

But i'll only listen to her spanish stuff nut english ones. They sucks! Hehe... Same goes for Ricky Martin. :D Hehe...
 
Can't say I'm a big fan of Shakira...though I would put her above Britney and Christina of course. She seems to be more natural, in her singing and looks.

I just am not really into the "pop" music of today I guess!
 
I wouldn't really label Shakira as "pop". I mean sure, you see her all over VH1 and MTV, but she's much better then the people in the pop culture. For one, she's intelligent. She learned to speak English all on her own because she refused to make albums in America until she learned the language. She plays guitar for her songs (like Objection Tango, Don't Bother, and I think a couple others but I don't remember). Plus she doesn't need a lot of plastic surgery or lyposuction to look beautiful, she can dance, and she pretty much proves that you don't have to dress like a whore to look sexy.

I think she's definately above the people in the Pop culture.
