Shadow Hearts Series

well yea i said it could beat out almost any Final Fantasy games...I do think that some games like FFVII FFX are probably better than this game but opposed to games like FFVIII FFIX FFXII...shadow hearts 2 is just a better overall game
 
hay 8 is my 3rd fav. and it is pretty good to me i just got bad disks now back to shadow hearts it does have some good points

Dont apologise, Im sorry about that. Yes thats your opinion also. Just found it funny how FF and SH were compared. But yes, that is your opinion.
 
ok well lets call it even and get back to the topic now my fav. charactor was for some reason the sanger/gaitarist. he was cool and his abilitys when done right was down out right scarry
 
how bout Roger Bacon...lol i could not stop laughing when you first met this guy.... i swear this guy has A.D.D and spazzes out in most of his cutscenes ahh...good shit

wasnt it sad in the second one when Yuri tried to get her back but it failed....i was disappointed cause i wanted her in my party again..she was the shit in the first one

It was very sad, poor Yuri :( I wanted her to come back also, just seemed odd without her being in the party. Shes kinda SH's Aeris then!
 
SH 2 is great i played that one before i played the first one, so i never got into the first one but ohwell. Second one was great with serious parts and the silly parts. Great sidesquests and storys, espcialy the wresting one that one was sooo funny

I agree Roger was so funny, i was expecting someone so very different after all the work you have to go througth to get him, but he was great

It was sad, but if she came back what would of happened to Karin, so in a way i was happy because i like karin more :D
 
I have a serious favor to ask someone.
I just bought Shadow Hearts: The Covenant, and started playing.

Unfortunately, I've done everything I could in order to get a copy of SH1, and I've never been able to get my hands on it. I never had a chance to finish the game either. =[
Could someone please explain to me what happens at the end of SH1?? =[

Yuri and co defeat both Albert Simon and the "God" which he had summoned in order to more or less wipe out mankind. Alice loses her life as she had made a pact with the masks which resided in Yuri. In exchange for Yuri's soul being saved she gave her life to the masks. You can get a better ending where she doesn't die but Covenant follows the ending where she does pass away.

That's all I can remember at the moment.

BANG! Lets get this thread going once again as the third Shadow Hearts game has recently been released!! Sadly my copy is in the post and I wont get a play for about a week :( So has anyone got it yet? And remember the spoiler tags please peeps.

I am afraid to say that alice does not come back to the main game in sh2 but at the end if u managed to get the best ending then yuri will go back to a previous time which is the begining of the first one were he gets on the train, he does this to try and alter it so alice lives. this achually helped me understand the best ending on the first 1 coz alice survives at the end and even helps u fight albert simon and god.

I've played the 2nd and 3rd games. I love them alottt. I cannot wait for the 4th. They are dark there is alot of humor in it. It just keeps me interested. I luffles it.

If you want some help with either of these two games I will be glad to try and help out.
