News flash: you CAN play as the other characters, they aren't just for show. I know ken and ryu( and the derivitive characters based on them) are cozy and safe, but I'd rather whup your butts when you pick some of the others too, ok? Thanks kiddies.

Ummm what this about? Anyways If someone takes Seth online then someone gets really screwedbecause he is unbelievably cheap. Oh and I know that everyone takes Ken and Ryu lol. Who cares they suck.

This is about exactly what I stated. 90% of people are picking ken or ryu online. Great characters, but trite when used so much. Throw In a little variety and you will improve yourself at the game as a whole. Even playing as other characters will make you better at defeating them, because you learn the nuances and how to counter them. Seth is cheap, but he is the boss, what do you really expect? You probably are too young to remember Bison on hyper fighting win the difficulty cranked all the way up. He was a veritable cheese factory.

Indeed. All they do is pick Ryu and Ken to battle. A bit of variety would be nice. =/. I love to battle online. Especially with different characters to see which ones I am good with.

It's been the thing with Street Fighter for years, below your competitive level players the shoto's will always reign supreme in how much they're used, the easy to pick up characters which many people stick with rather than learning how to play any other characters.
