Scene remakes, not full games

I am sure we have all read about Square-Enix going on about how it would take so long to remake VII etc. which is completely understandable.
However, after thinking about what I want from SE I thought of this.

I want the best scenes remade with better graphics. With scenes, screenplay, voice acting and few other factors are all that matter. The gameplay does not.
I don't want a movie, I want a disc where you have choice to play scenes from a long list of the best scenes in FF history. With certain games like X (special scenes) and XIII you wont need to remake but just add to the disc.

Scenes I would like to see:
~Garland revealing his time loop plan and transforming into Chaos
~Bahamut upgrading your characters
~All the deaths in FF2 and probably the destruction of the town at the start
~All the 'deaths' from FF4 and Tellah's actual death (I want a freaking amazing meteor shower, I want epicness from a spell that is so epic it kills you
~Cecil becoming a paladin
~Kain attacking Cecil
~Many others from FF4, probably because I love that game to death
~Aerith's death
~Cloud falling through the church roof
~I am sure there are many others in 7 but I havent played it enough

Yeah, I have only fully played 1,2,3,4,5,10....thats why I dont have much judgement on other most likely fantastic FF titles

OVERALL: I want to see scenes, HD scenes! I mainly play FF for the storyline so yeah, I want to see the scenes with greater graphics, better VAs (if possible) and better screenplay! Make into into a compilation disc!
Anyone else agree?
 
I completely agree with you here.

I honestly think I could die happy if they would just remake the opening and ending sequences from FFVIII. I would be SO happy.

The Ending to FFIX would be a great one as well, as would Yuna's Sending at Kilika, and the Suteki da ne? scene as well :hmmm:
 
I would love it if they took the best scenes from the games and remade them with better CGI sequences.

It'd be awesome to see those little movie sequences so pretty and it wouldn't take as long to do that as it would to remake an entire game.

So yeah I agree with the whole compilation disc idea. I'd just sit there and watch them all happily. >.<
 
The destruction of the world in VI would be epic to see in CGI, given that they don't over do it. (To the point where they make it TOO long)

Celes's attempted suicide in the WOR. It would be awesome to see in full CGI

Terra's first time transforming into esper form. This would also be awesome to see.

The opening to VI. still gives me chills on the GBA, if they get the right angle it could look awesome in CGI.

Galuf sacrificing himself in V. One of the best sacrifices in the series.
 
Ooooo! Nice thread!

- I would love to see the ending of VII updated.

- And I'd like some animated scene instead of the dialog at the Seventh Heaven, when Cloud returns from his mission, the flash back to the well. :D

- I'd also love the part where
Tifa joins him in the Lifestream
to be updated graphically!

With what Kandy said, I couldn't agree more. Just all the good scenes need an updated. :8F: I'd love to see it.
