Help Sanubia Desert help. :-(

Yes, another question from me as I try to wrap up Final Fantasy X. I am looking for the village of cactuars mini game which is supposedly in the Sanubia Desert. but everytime I go there, all that is there is a save sphere and a treasure chest. I can't go anywhere else! I don't know what to do...:wtf:

You're going to the wrong part of the desert, you need to choose the destination Bikanel Desert from the airship, not Sanubia desert, that's only a place with the Ascalon sword and the save sphere. (Where you are)

Yes, you want Bikanel Island, or the main part of the desert. This is the part you cross during the storyline. Keep moving north until you're at the last screen to the north. You'll find an inaccessible area that says a sandstorm blocks your path. To the south of the sandstorm, you'll see what looks like a tombstone with a Cactuar on it. Inspect this to start the sidequest and you're ready to search for the 1st Cactuar.
