yes but FIRST TIME i didnt know how powerful he was
i didnt have any trouble with any of the other bosses whilst underleveled
besides that was like 8-9 years ago

no i beat him about 10 times and everything else in the game but my save file got corrupted :cry2:
Now i have to start again i had everything in the game apart from contain materia but i don't need that since i have master magic

My very first time, no. I was unprepared for a final battle, with no correct materia, equipment or accessories. I lost continuously for days on end, till I eventually won. Bare in mind, I was eight.

I did beat him first time, but I had both Knights of the Round and Mimic so it wasn't much of an accomplishment.

I don't really remember that fight all to well. I should probably re play FF7.

heh, i beat him first time and i had mostly crappy materia and i was pretty low level, big accomplishment

I died the first time because i went in without any materia.

I died the first time too cos' i killed Bizarro and thought everything was over. Sheesh.

Some may think going at him as a low level and beating him is an acomplishment. However Safer Sephiroth can vary in strength so if you are a lower level and have not done mch in the game then he will be weak.
If you have all the best materia and have beaten the weapons and are max level he will be a lot stronger.

I remember I lost first time but I just swapped some materia around and then I beat him. Just a matter of tactics.
