im just about to finish vii and my cid is affected with 'sadness' but i have no idea what it does, so far i can't tell what it changes, could anyone explain?

It slows your character and his Limit break bar is blue I presume?

yeah the bars blue, and he desn't seem that slow

Yeah it means the Limit Break bar doesn't fill up as easily, although your accuracy goes up.

Use a hyper to cure it ^^

Yup as said above also if you get fury is it called....? That makes your limit bar go bright pink and you can use your limits more often thus learning the next limit levels quicker

Tranquilizer cures that one if you don't want it though
