Rules for the RP Forum?

Though I know not much is going on in the Roleplay forum, I cannot help but worry so much for it. I have not seen any set of rules for it, meaning that it isn't safe from spam, or even roleplays of very poor quality that might as well be in the spam forum.

If comes to the case that the staff are too busy for this, then I'd be glad to help.
 
I may be new to this forum but I have some suggestions for some rules

SECTOR 7 RPG FORUM GUIDELINES
1) All RPG's are considered Active
A) If they are on the first page
B) If the Thread is still receiving Posts
2) All RPG's are considered InActive
C) If they Dissappear of the First Page
D) If they have not Been Responded to for awhile The Author of the RPG will be Contacted if it is still on the First Page
3)Sign up Threads will No longer be a seperate thread, One Thread please
4) Have Fun
 
Some interesting points here. I shall bring it to the attention of the other staff so it can be discussed.

Monitoring activity within an RP is good, I think. However, you state it as if it matters to something. Is there anything else you needed to add?

Don't worry about sign-up threads. The RP forum here is organized in such a way that there is a sub-forum for the sign-ups and discussions themselves.

I've done role playing for what now? A year. I know all of the rules for a basic RP forum or even an RP itself. Here are a few that, in my opinion, are a must.

1. No powerplaying or godmodding.
2. Try to be literate with your posts.
3. Posts should have a certain amount depending on the experience of the user.

These are a few of the rules I've encountered, but I can't think of anymore. Although it isn't generally very active at the moment, enforcing some rules and reading the guide to role playing will get it active in the future.
 
Then people would be lost and get confused and woudn't know where to post their thread in.
 
Pardon, but it is easier just to make 1 whole forum, people could just post it in one thread, I can't even find my current RP at this time because of the sub-forums.
 
If not just one forum, then perhaps just two or three at the most? One for RP characters, another for the roleplay sign-ups, and the third for the roleplay themselves? At the moment I agree with Galoko Izamaku, that is too much sub-forums, but I can deal; I'm just worried about what's necessary for convenience.

EDIT: My views on rules still stands.

Here is my idea. We have three forums for that section.

1. Role Plays.
2. Role Play Battling.
3. Character Creation.

That's just my idea, though. I could expand on it and would be willing to do so much for this forum. At the moment, I'm discussing about being a member of staff with Darkblade and if I got the job for this forum, I have so many ideas and things I can share with everyone. I would do so much for this forum and besides, it's my favourite forum anyway.
