RPG Inferno Achievements

I'm not quite at the amount of components you have, but I'm trying ;)
~Willpower: Survive casting an attack spell on yourself four times without healing.

The idea is interesting, but one could just have a fight against really weak monsters like Hungry Wolves and Bomb Babies, or Seagull Kellies, then just case Fire/Ice/Thunder/Water on yourself, then you should still have enough HP left to cast another one of those spells on yourself and survive, even with 100 HP.

This would of course be before the player puts many attribute points to their MAG stat, if any. >.> I'll have to try think of some clever things like that though, but they should be meaningful, something like that would be damaging yourself just for the sake of an achievement. xD

How about a loot achievement? Such as some outrageous amount of the "combined" components.

Well I made an achievement for having 250 of any component, perhaps there could be one for 250 of a combined component, that would be 5x tougher to achieve, at least. :P

But is that too similar to the one that is already up there? :hmmm:

Bolt you forgot something. I do and will keep on doing 400+ within 2 turns.
In truth the earliest someone can achieve it is at level 10. That is with dual welding and hitting a low def monster.

Well I have some trouble hitting some opponents as it is, I don't need to split what DEX I have to dual wield, guess I'll just have to deal less damage...maybe things will change for me as I get more DEX. :P

But in that case, I guess I'll put that achievement up there. When you guys can say do things like that, dealing that kind of damage, you all make me feel so weak and useless. :gonk:

But I have already given it it's major edit since the new RPG began. Some of the numbers are way high because they are meant for further into this RPG, so not all of the achievements will just be gotten right away, that wouldn't be any fun. xD

We will need to keep adding new ones. Soloing bosses could be achievements. Beating a boss could be one, then soloing the same boss could be a better one.
Then Thrifty could be gathering an obscene amount of gil.

...or whatever the rewards are for these Points. If there are no good stuff in any shops, then not a whole lot of good Gil does for reward, so I need to think it through.

But yeah, achievements for solo'ing certain bosses may be good, though it should either be that, or without the solo restriction, not both.

If you first defeat a boss with another player teamed up with you, you won't be able to face it again alone, you'd have to team up with another player again to face it. :gonk:

I know, if you solo it then you've solo'd and killed the boss. But if you team up on it then you've only killed it. So we could have both and you either get both or just the one. Or we could just get rid of merely killing the boss altogether and only soloing the boss is achievement worthy.

Thrifty is meant to be an achievement not a reward. I know gil is easy to come by. So the Achievement should be like 1,000,000 gil.

You could also have a PvP achievement, for example:
Fighter - Win 5 PvP battles.
Gladiator - Win 15 PvP battles.
Destroyer - Win 50 PvP battles.
Then some for losing too :P
Heart of Gold (First thing that came to mind) - Lose 100 PvP battles.

Heart of Gold...? That represents many losses? How about Purple Heart? xD And PvP achievements idea sounds cool. Would these PvP battles have to be from during tournaments to count towards the achievements? There isn't many actual tournaments. >.>

Very nice :)
How about Spell Mastery? You get the newest spell available, then however many days it takes to master it can earn you a reward.
1 Day... 1000 Gil
2 Days... 900 Gil
3 Days... 700 Gil
4 days... 500 Gil
5 or more days... no reward.
(Oh, and this is for spells with 10+ levels ;)))

The only spells that go up to Level 10 are the Advanced level elemental spells (Fira, Watera, Thundera, and Icera), which aren't exactly new, they've been available for several weeks.

As for mastering a spell within 4 days of when it was learned, how could one show proof of when they learned a particular spell? I don't think that's possible...anyone knowing this could just say they mastered it in a day, and I can't just take everyone's word for it, it takes some time to level up a spell 9 levels. >.>

Hmm... maybe scanning it once a day? You could be notified of when the spell was bought, then mastered.

But how could one tell if information provided is accurate? Someone could have it for a few days, and then say they just got the spell. And I can't scan every player once a day. X_x

Yeah. >.> I would like to have spell mastery achievements, but things like that wouldn't work out, though if there are any spells in the future that the max level of is ridiculously high (Level 25+), there could be an achievement for mastering such a spell, perhaps. xD

Most of these achievements aren't currently possible. There is no way to do over 100 damage with a spell in a single turn, meaning there is no way we're going to hit the 150 damage mark and that getting 250 MAG is superfluous. As it stands simply getting tough enough to beat everyone above my level is my current goal, I'd like to get to the point where I can win 2v1 battles (though I haven't found many willing participants :p).

We know... and there isn't much we can do to make other ones.
