Hey, just basically started the game, joining from a different MMO and was wondering if there is any RP on the game at all, if so could y'all give me some info on where to find it such as, servers, towns and such. Thanks

Well as an RP'er on this site for about a year and a half, I've never seen an FFXI RP before. Not that I wouldn't mind starting now, it's that not a lot of people (me included) have actually, played the game.

I haven't seen any FFXI RP's in my time here either, so, if you were wondering to start on, I don't see why not. I haven't played the game either though. But I don't think this was your question, sorry if this was a waste of time

ahh thanks :L do you guys mean Forum RP?? I was wondering about the Game servers :L i've googled Final Fantasy XI RP and some have come up, but they dont seem to tell me much on where to find them, just the server :S

There are RP'ing LSes on nearly every server, but they are all extremely low population. Most people have now been playing for years and are wanting to get shit done before moving on to XIV. Having a RP'er in a pick up group totally kills the whole tempo, and therefore screws up exp rates.

Your best bet is to go to FFXI specific forums, Alla, BG, KI, and look in the thread specific sections for RP'ing LSes.
