I'm not sure if vBulletin supports these features after all, but I'll just suggest them nevertheless.

In the role playing section, especially so for RPBs, one of the best way to ensure a fair fight is the use of a dice. A dice that would calculate the amount of hurt inflicted on a certain character, which would also ensure there's no bias in deciding how much hurt the character sustains from a specific attack. And also, perhaps, the energy calculations as well. It's not that easy to gauge the amount of energy the character has left.

Sure, we could use a dice that's not integrated into this forum, though I guess it'll be quite a real hassle, either finding a site that does dice rolling -_- Or roll our own dice and taking pictures of it. :D I'll probably be taking pictures of a dice with '6' marked on it and spamming it.

So... Dice up!

And, another idea is regarding the Story Sages forum. Well, a recent feature that came to the role playing section was the 'Information Threads' which would hold all the elaborate details regarding a specific role play, no?

Well, for my role play, I've took to updating that forum with 'Events' that literally creates events in the role play... And well... A participant, Tipsy, actually, pointed out that it was more noticeable for me to create a new post there, rather than to edit a post in the thread.

... So... I was thinking... How about making that segment that holds these Information Threads a non-post count segment?

I'm not so sure about this one now, though. Are there really people that bother a lot about post counts? Hm. >.>

Not opposed to that, although it does take away some of the malleability of an RPB. After all, one of the gauges of a good RPer is knowing when and how much damage to take off an incoming blow. But in general, I have no quarrel with this, as long as it's optional for each individual RPB. As far as technically, I'm not sure if vB has anything like that. The only thing I'm aware of is individually downloadable die rolling programs. Nothing that's integrated.

If the events aren't just one line little blurbs, I have no problem with you posting each event individually, or perhaps grouping events together for each post, giving you something like five events per post.

The only reason I'd be against making SS PCD is that, if you've seen some of the lengthy information posts, it's kind of hard not to credit someone with a post for that much effort.
