Does the escape function/skill even work at all? Sometimes my mage character ends up without MP. Because he hits most enemies for 0 damage anyways the only option is to run away, but after having tried the option for a number of rounds (even as much as 10) and miserably fail, I always end up being stuck in a battle where enemies can;t really damage me and I can't really damage them. So we are both dealing 0 damage every turn and sometimes manage to get in a 1 or 2. In this way it would take several hours to end a battle where both my mage and his opponent both have 100+ HP left...

Now I have to close the screen and wait for the battle to be deleted by the system before I can continue playing, meaning that if I run out of mana, I have to wait until I can play again after a defeat (or draw, since both sides aren't really winning :P).

Is there any way to make it easier to escape? Do I need to spend more points in SPD or something?

(And yes, I know I should always have some reserve mana potions, but I run out of them so quickly :( )
 
I completely agree. The escape function is really whacked out.
 
Well monsters normally have less than 50 escape prevention so it should be possible, is it any monster in particular that causes this?
 
Just about every monster in the Ruins, the Tunnels, and Naville Courtyard.
 
Well once I get internet back (it dies in half an hour, then returns 2 hours later) i'll have a look over all the monsters, because we did set a high escape chance on regular monsters.

For me, it is all monsters I have encountered so far (I got as far as the Mysterious Ruins 4 site). It doesn't matter if there is a single or multiple enemies, I never had an succesfull escape attempt.

And otherwise, I want a harakiri-option to give at least a honorable ending to a lost battle :D

I'll get right on it. Regular monsters should have a 50 percent escape rate and bosses 0. I was thinking of a 100 percent escape rate for regular monsters. But that is too easy. If ever you want to get a battle deleted though, you can PM one of us. OOps there is a thread you can use to get battles deleted.

edt: escape chances have been fixed. It should be set as I stated.
