I have over played this game to a shocking extent, but until like...well now I haven't played ot for at least 5 years. Time flies

Anyway, I never realised how small the dungeons or w/e you'd call them were until now, like, I ran back through the mythril mines so I could get Beta from the Midgar Zolom, and I got through it without encountering a single fight. I don't understand WHY some of the areas are so short, I used to think Mt Nibel and that GI cave at Cosmo canyon were huuuge until recently. But I can't blame it on being am 'older' game...becausse I remember - fondly I may add :stare: some of the the evil dungeons in V & VI...and III -__-

I do love the game, it will always be my favourite - evn if it's for the only reason that Im stubborn and refuse to make another one my favourite...

I dunno, Im only up to the temple of the ancients atm, I still remember sector 8 and uh, Im sur there was another one, but mymind went blank./ Oh no, i remember....the northern crater and the great glacier being pretty big and annoying

Actualluy, Im probably just reading too much into it, because I still have a fair way to go, it just made me lol when I realised how short the Mythril Caves where.........

Anyway......uh, I'm still thouroughly enjoyin my replay through - I guess I shouldn't leave it so long in future. What are your thoughts when you replay a game you haven't played for aaaaaages? :monster:

I love it when you start up a game that you havent played for a while, its even better when you really work your self up to start said game. Like recently I for some reason searched if there was ever gonna be a sequel to Legend of Dragoon or maybe a PSP remake, and it made me want to start playing it again. I just reached the second disc yesterday.

I've replayed Final Fantasy VII a few times and it's a fantastic experience every time. For me though, nothing beats the introduction with Midgar. Once you leave Midgar, it's a different game. I'm not sure how long that beginning sequence actually takes to play... probably a few hours... but it's easily my favorite portion of the game. I wish you never left Midgar. I could replay that game endless but I guess I don't get the point. I know the plot practically by heart, which is a feat in and of itself.

I played it again recently...in German. Actually, that was the reason why I even bothered to play it again. It's not a bad game, and it's actually lots of fun, but it just makes a classic game more amusing to play it in a different language, and it's a good reason to spend lots of time on it. Despite the fact that those dungeons seem short and easy, it still takes lots of time to play a game like FF7 because of all those sidequests like chocobo breeding.
