Anyone know of any System Registry cleaning software that is free.
By free i mean no "15 day free trial" bullcrap. I dont wanna have to pay for it after i use it for 15 days. If anyone can help a guy out i would be very, very thankful.

Thanks:neomon:

I can't say that I know of one. I think that because the registry is a pretty advanced topic inside a computer, they just don't make freeware for it.

Unless something in the registry has been bitten by a virus/trojan, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Sure, it can get cluttered with dead links, but overall it won't reduce the overall performance of the computer too badly. If you feel like something is bringing your computer to its knees, I'd say download a generic freeware virus scan program to at least see if you find any. If you do, then you can take you chance in deleting them manually, as they usually give a file extension or registry link.

Best of luck!

Just in case you still are looking for one.

Well, I'd recommend CCleaner. It's a freeware, so no problem about it... And I feel it's quite reliable. Also allows you to 'wipe free space', whatever that means >.>

Eitherway, I doubt you'll really need to purchase a registry cleaner with this one.
