Hiya all from Final Fantasy Forums,

I'm new to this forums. But I've been playing Final Fantasies for a long time so I decided to join this community.:)

I have a question about FF12: I've been told there are some great treasures in the Cerobi Steppes if you're using Diamond Armlet.
Now, ALL of my characters are wearing Diamond Armlets, but I still only get Knot of Rusts and Low Gil treasures. Story-wise, I've just finished Giruvegan. But I also have opened the treasures in Lowtown and all the treasures at the Phon-Coast (I know, no easy Zodiark Spear for me :sad2:)
Maybe that has something to do with it?
Are there other requirements I do not know of for the treasures in Cerobi Steppes?

Anyway, thanks in advance:)

Kind Regards,

Kluzeya:cool:

You'll probably get a better chance for an answer here.

Those armlets just increase the chances of getting better treasures, if I recall correctly. So I think it's still all up to luck.

The armlets allow you to access some of the greater treasures. Unfortunately there's a 5% chance of obtaining it. There's a 50% chance of it holding gil. If it holds an item, there's a 90% chance of it holding Knot of Rust.

I'm pretty sure the great treasure here you're referring to is one of the Ribbons that's obtainable. The Amulet adds a slight better chance in some instances, but like Gabranth said, it's more due to luck.

You can walk around for days upon end and not pick it up, and I've spent countless hours trying to get it to appear and to actually be the Ribbon, but no luck so far.
