Question about the PSX version

I wonder if I can switch party members for this version.. If not I WOULD not buy this game for the psx because I HATE EDGE and I dont want to use him for the final dungeon..
 
I'm pretty sure you can't switch your party members at the end of the ps1 version. It's been a while, but have a look here and it confirms that party members can't be switched:

Personally, I'd have to agree that the DS version is just the best anyways, unless you are going for the old look, in which case the GBA version is the best version :)
 
Ye I already know what each version consists of. I will get the PSP version as I think it is the best one it has a continuation of the game aswell, beautiful graphics and extras. Not that I dislike the Ds version but I dont like the idea of augments and I dont have a DS anyway xD.
 
Mmm, makes sense. Oh yeah, After Years! I forgot the psp version has that. While it may not be as good as the main game, I'm sure any ff4 fan would love to see how things turn out after the main game :)
