I couldn't find an answer for this in the rules, so I was wondering if one of the staff could answer a question for me:

If I want to ask a staff members about a forum related issue, but not something directly relating to the forum itself, how should I go about it? Who should I ask?

Depends entirely on the question, and its purpose. If you're uncertain staff would approve, then feel free to PM either myself or another member of staff.

I'll implement this into the rules to avoid further confusion.
