I would have to say AFI are the punkest band I like. They are more Hardcore now but check out there old stuff its total punk.

I've only heard "Take This Job And Shove It" and "Nazi Punks" and its not really my cup of tea. It makes me laugh though XD.
I suggest listening to Holiday in Cambodia and California Uber Alles.

I like Golgo Bordello, Distillers and Dropkick Murphys. Im not really a die hard punk fan. Dead Kennedys arent really arent a band I listen to.

Do you count ELLEGARDEN? They're a Japanese band (hope that doesn't make you guys angry hah hah hah), but the guy sings like everything in what I consider very good English considering its his second language. If you want to give them a try, they are on the softer side of Punk to me (and some of their songs can be rock or whatever genre you want to put them into), and they don't be going doing that hardcore screaming very much or at all so it may not be to your tastes.
If you end up listening to them, by far my favorite songs by them are: Salamander, Sliding Door, Monster, and SPACE SONIC to name some.
