Around 2 am this morning I heard people yelling in the street. I went outside & walked a short distance to see what was going on. Its dark, there aren't a lot of street lights or any lights at all so no one saw me.
There were 3 trucks stopped on the side of the road and the people riding in them got out and were yelling at a guy walking along the opposite side of the road.
For whatever reason he had been walking right in the middle of the road so they pulled over and started yelling at him. The person who was walking in the middle of the road is saying: "I'm sorry, I apologize." Then, later when he walked further down the street and felt a little safer he got braver & said: "I apologized, what do you want me to do". They tell him to keep walking & that they better hope they don't see him again & things like that.
3 truck fulls of people yelling at one guy. One of the guys girlfriends / wives was saying things like... "Next time just run him over him. Kill him. No need to stop". She sounded completely serious.
Her husband / boyfriend says: "No, don't kill him". His wife / girlfriend responds: "why not"? He answers: "because I don't want to go to jail, that's why".
They're not making an effort to be quiet and talking really loud so its easy to hear them. They talked a little more then they all left.
Luckily nothing happened. It seems like almost every week I see things like this.
A few weeks ago, one of the kids that lives around here was outside and I guess his father who doesn't have custody of him parked on the side of the road and was trying to get him to leave with him.
Another time, there was someone driving on the wrong side of the road who ran a car coming in the opposite direction off the road. And, then they got out and started arguing and the person driving on the wrong side of the road starts cussing out everyone asking them what's their problem. lol
2-3 times, I've seen pplz girlfriends leaving them walking to the road to hitchhike somewhere having arguments and yelling at their boyfriends about how they can't take it anymore and things like that.
Another time, I saw homeless drugees living in their car. The girlfriend was complaining that her boyfriend didn't have enough money to support her drug habit, and it was pretty much downhill from there.
Its like this every week if not every month. I don't even remember all the disputes I've seen, lately.
Anyways, I don't remember seeing this many disputes and arguments before. It seems like one day a lot of people became bitter and unhappy.
Am I the oddball or is all this normal?
