Improvements to the game
-Music Store has been added just as in Disgaea 1 on the PSP
-Character Paint Shop From Disgaea 3

- Storyline-7.5
In a small village called Holt, a young human man named Adell lives his demon parents and siblings. They have been turned into demons because of a curse casted by an Overlord named Zenon over the Netherworld. Adell is the only one who has remained a human. In the opening scene, Adell's mother performs a summoning ritual in hopes to summon Overlord Zenon so they can kill him and break the curse, but instead summons Rozalin. Rozalin introduces herself as the princess and daughter of Overlord Zenon and shows the royal seal of Zenon. Because of the seemingly failed ritual, Adell plans to find Overlord Zenon himself in a quest with the help from Rozalin and other characters throughout the game.

Adell-The Hero of the Game,Everyone in Veldime has turned into demons except him,to save his family from the curse of Zenon he ventures out and looks to defeat him in order to save his family from becoming full blooded demons
Rozalin-The Princess and Daughter of Overlord Zenon not much is known about her as her exsistance has be hidden from the outside world,She is summoned by adell's mother by accident and follows Adell to return to her father.
Tink-Princess Rozalin's Childhood friend you find him in the Castle where the Princess lived but he has been transformed into a frog((french and a frog body how poetic))
Hanako & Taro-Hanako is Adell's little sister and Taro is Adell's little brother,Hanako longs to be a Demon Lord and doesnt care if she returns to her human form she soon becomes a member of the team and wants to follow in Etna's Footsteps.
Taro wishes to be Princess Rozalin's Servant and will do anything for her,hes also called a crybaby fairly often and may drag you into trouble
Yukimaru-A young Kunoichi who enters in a tournament for a chance to fight Overlord Zenon and get revenge for her clans Death.
Etna-A Demon Lord formerly Vassel to the Overlord Prince Laharl,she left him for a chance to be the Goddess of all overlords,as she meets Adell and the others she tries using them..but her luck soon turns sour..
- Gameplay-8.5
The Gameplay is amazing.
The max level in the game is 9999,yes thats no typo its 9999,you summon units to the stage just like any SRPG you can summon at most 8 each character class is unique and has special abilities,Damage is not capped unlike most RPG's you can pull off amazing damage over 100,000 HP,at first the game seems tame and easy but as you move higher and higher in the special parts of the game such as Land of Carnage and Item World you'll realize why this game is so popular.
You can Lift party members up,pull off combos,and learn techniques to power up your characters to the maximum
- Controls-7.5
The Control Scheme is pretty simple nothing really complicated,move with the control nub,select with x.
- Graphics-7.5
The Graphic's in the game merge 3d with 2d anime-ish Character Models,they show emotion when the story takes its crazy twists.
Most story cut scenes have the character image and text the character besides does move to show emotions
- Sound-8.5
The Music is great the original BGM fits the mood of each battle and speical Characters have special BGM's ((Such as Laharls theme)) and if you ever want to listen to music you loved simply go to the Music Store,by the Subpeona npc.
- Unique/Extra Features-9.5
Unlike Disgaea 2 on the PS2 Disgaea 2 Dark Hero Days has a wide Array of extra's
-Beat the Game to unlock Axel Mode,a New game where you play the dark hero and venture into the world of Veldime to regain your fans!
-New Game+ allows you to keep your characters,levels,items etc. and begin anew((Though beware you lose your special characters such as Laharl etc.))
-DLC most DLC for Disgaea 2 is extra characters to add to your dark army.
-Land of Carnage,A Special Area where only the strong survive you find level 3000+ here and they make you cry,to unlock this you need to collect map pieces from 16 different pirate's in item world
-Dark Assembly,This Feature allows you to make characters,pass bills for stronger enemies,stronger items,etc.
-Dark World,Is a challangeing mode for people who are lucky enough to unlock them,you are challanged by killing all the enemies on a map while being forced into tough situations caused by the Dark Sun
-Dark Court,Allows you to obtain Felonies which make it easier to buy items,pass bills,and level extremely easy.
-Item World,A World where you go into your equipment and power it up to it's full potential,you have to kill enemies and mini bosses to make your stat's sky rocket to the maximum!!
- Replay value-9.0
The Replay Value is very good,there are tons of things you can do after you finish.
-You can always find multiple endings((As many as 21))
-You can Level all your characters to level 9999
-You can play various extra modes such as Dark World,Land of Carnage,Axel Mode
-There's alot more but why spoil it gotta leave some surprises

The game is interesting,fun,and unique.
It's easily one of the most popular SRPG's ever made,you have unique story/characters,plenty of Replay Value,comical twists,amazing gameplay,Good DLC content,will have you wasting 100's of hours of you life leveling/unlocking everything.
