I got the PSP 3000 model back in May. It's been less than five months and it seems like the battery drains alot faster. When I first got it, there'd be enough energy for about six hours of gameplay. But lately it seems that it'll only stay charged for about four. Does anyone know why this might be happening? I tried looking it up on the Google but I got nothing. It kinda concerns me 'cause I don't have the money to go out and buy a new battery. And there's always the issue that it's the PSP itself which would REALLY piss me off.

The only thing that I can think about the problem of your PSP battery is that you are probably overcharging the PSP. If you let it charge for a period of time will it's fully charged then it will likely mess it up. The battery function is just like a cell phone battery. I might be wrong but this is my way of thinking about your problem with your PSP battery. Try to fully charge it and see what happends. If it doesn't it again then you will probably have to buy a new battery for it.
