I've got this. Love the remastered graphics. As for the FAQS loseit, I usually goto http://www.gamefaqs.com. for FAQS search under the original NES FAQS or GBA Dawn of Souls FAQS.
If you can't find FAQs for it, just look it up on gamefaqs.com like was said. I think all the FAQs for it were written for the NES version but that's all good. Minus the improved graphics it's really just a direct port. Not sure if any extra in-game content was added but it can't be TOO different I'd imagine.
And yes Savior, it's a fun little game for what it is. I've been lightly going at it pretty much while I'm at work on lunch or whatever. Don't expect an epic story-line out of it, Final Fantasy didn't really rise to the standard that we know and love until a little later on the series. FF1 pretty much accomplished developing the battle system and all the other gameplay aspects that we've gotten used to over the years in the series. But if you're just looking for a decent little RPG to piss away the time then it's pretty damn addicting.
As everyone has said, Gamefaqs is an excellent site for lots of games. Even if you don't find help in the faqs/guides, you can alwasy look at the message boards too....but you'll have to register to post a message asking for specific help that's not been posted before.
Anyway, back on to FFI for PSP.....I'm going to buy this game (even though I have the PSone and GBA versions) when it's released in UK. Shame they haven't re-released other FF games for PSP.....but as I have a DS as well, I'm hoping to have all the FF games I can get.
yeah, i agree gamefaqs is best for guides, i used the original nes guide for any trouble i had in the story and the dawn of souls guide for the 4 shrines, never found one for the labyrinth of time though, had to do that blind
I live in England and there is a shop in my city that gets some american releases in and picked this up by luck, even though i have origins and dawn of souls already
a great game though, a perfect car journey time killer and its always nice to see how the series started
This game is a very good remake because it still has that classic look.
And chronodia is very hard to beat specially since you have to beat him alot to get the ultimate weapons in the game . Once you get the hang of it its not that hard thou.
I dont think this thread needs to remain open as the guy is asking where to locate FAQs for it. And its been way over a month, Im sure hes located some by now.
