problem in cosmo canyon

im playing a FF7 pc version

i brought yuffie and aeris and im about to enter BUGENHAGEN's machine to know about the planet but after the cut scenes im able to move and dont know what to do
im stuck dont know what to do HELP pls


EDIT: now i know what went wrong i moved i think it ruined the plot

A glitch on my ff7 ps1 version stopped me getting past the desert prison... The screen wouldn't let me go see Dyne
