VIII over VII

hehe, i still laugh a little at this, read it through
Ok, so i was in my Aquatics class in school (swimming, basically) thursday, and me, a couple guys, and a girl were wading in the deep end, just talking, when the girl mentions that she liked Twilight Princess, and we got to talking about our favorite games. This guy (for the sake of his identity, we will call him Joe) hears us, and swims over and joins in when he heres me bring up Final Fantasy.
Joe starts in, saying how he has played them all, so we start quizzing him about the games, but first, as a noob first question, we asked him how many FF games there were. Joe says "13, but they skip around. they never made a III until the DS. Theres I & II, then it skips to IV, then V on GBA. But before that, they made VII-IX for PS, then X, X-2, then XII, then XI, and now XIII. They skip around, like what they did for Star Wars. They just made a III not too long ago" so, we start to play along, and we ask Joe where he 'learned' that, because most people dont know it. (lol) He acts smart, he says he looked it up online, and he has played every version of FF, and beat them all.
The next day, in our English class, we were in the library, and i brought a CD with (you guessed it) FF III on it. Joe popped in the CD when the teacher turned away, saw the rom, loaded it using the copy of Nestopia that i had loaded on about half the computers in there (when the teachers walk away, i open it up and play Mario when im bored
) and was astounded. He started asking me where i got it, and how i put it into a NES rom, and why he hadnt heard of it before now, and so on. It was probably the best moment i have had all year, to see how stupid he really was. He looked at the date of when it was made on Wiki (http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Final_Fantasy_III he found it on google) and was so embarrased, it was funny
Now that i read over it, i realize its not as funny just reading it, you really have to have been there. But i typed all that by hand, which i rarely do anymore (i just got voice-recognition) so im gonna post it anyway, cuz i never type this much just to delete it....
