5. Renato Bablalu(hopefully)
6. Mark Hominick
7. Terry Martin, the old Belfort aint coming back :(
8. Little Nog > Vernon White

I'm gonna move this out of the general gaming section and into Sports Grounds. Seems to fit a little better there.

Thread Moved

I'm not the biggest fan of MMA. It's entertaining to watch, but I don't follow it closely enough to be able to recognize any of those names. It's way better than boxing, at least. Boxing became crap.

Man im 0/3 as far as where threads belong lol.

Oh well, thanks more moving the thread, and yeah MMA seems to be replacing Boxing, alot of boxers actually have learned Jiu-Jitsu and have moved to fighting orgs like UFC, WEC, Strikeforce, EliteXC, etc.

No problem, sir. Takes some time to figure out where everything belongs. :]

I've seen a few dudes in MMA who fight using only boxing techniques rather than karate, jiu-jitsu, and other methods of fighting. That's why I seem to like MMA. There's plenty of variety, resulting in matches that are much more entertaining.

Well I'm glad you like MMA, but it doesnt seem that many people here do :(. Oh well

  • WAMMA Heavyweight Championship bout:
    22px-Flag_of_Russia.svg.png
    Fedor Emelianenko vs
    22px-Flag_of_the_United_States.svg.png
    Tim Sylvia
Interesting fight. Sylvia should be given tremendous amount of credit on leaving the UFC to take the toughest challenge in Fedor. Sylvia has always been of the opinion that he could indeed beat Fedor so now is his time to prove his words. Sylvia is an awkward fighter but I think Fedor will easily overcome it and find the takedown within the first round and will find an easy submission.
  • Heavyweight bout:
    22px-Flag_of_Belarus.svg.png
    Andrei Arlovski vs
    22px-Flag_of_the_United_States.svg.png
    Ben Rothwell
Arlovski, another fighter fresh from the UFC will prove a good test for Rothwell. I think both are lacking finishing ability at the moment so a dreary decision in Andrei's favour is the prediction
  • Heavyweight bout:
    22px-Flag_of_the_United_States.svg.png
    Josh Barnett vs
    22px-Flag_of_Brazil.svg.png
    Pedro Rizzo
I've missed seeing Barnett fight, he's got big heart and brilliant submission ability and heavily underachieved in PRIDE. Barnett will get an emphatic victory over Rizzo and put himself in the WAMMA Heavyweight Title picture almost instantly
  • Middleweight bout:
    22px-Flag_of_the_United_States.svg.png
    Matt Lindland vs
    22px-Flag_of_Brazil.svg.png
    Fabio Negao
Now then, this is a tough one to call. Negao is a ground specialist whereas Lindland has an immense amount of dominating wrestling skill. Matt has to be careful when taking Fabio to the ground and beware of the Brazilian's submission ability. I'm not sure how to call it but I have faith in Lindland's experience and will give him the predicted victory, not too sure how though.
  • Light heavyweight bout:
    22px-Flag_of_Brazil.svg.png
    Renato Sobral vs
    22px-Flag_of_the_United_States.svg.png
    Mike Whitehead
Whitehead's a bulky sub-par wrestler and will be an easy test for a young yet experienced Sobral. Possible flash knockout here.
  • Heavyweight bout:
    22px-Flag_of_Russia.svg.png
    Aleksander Emelianenko vs
    22px-Flag_of_the_United_States.svg.png
    Paul Buentello
Emelianenko will feel out the fight with the first round and have Buentello figured out by the second, Aleksandr has had bigger fights than this and will overcome Buentello's predictable offence.
  • Light heavyweight bout:
    22px-Flag_of_Brazil.svg.png
    Antonio Rogerio Nogueira vs
    22px-Flag_of_the_United_States.svg.png
    Edwin Dewees
Don't even want to talk about this one, Nog all the way.
  • Middleweight bout:
    22px-Flag_of_Brazil.svg.png
    Vitor Belfort vs
    22px-Flag_of_the_United_States.svg.png
    Terry Martin
Interesting bout, Belfort is a crestfallen fighter and Martin is coming off a dissapointing loss to UFC Light-Heavyweight gatekeeper, Marvin Eastman. But lately he's rectified these problems with a first round, pro-boxing win and dropping down to Middlewight which I think will suit him far better. He can be explosive when he gets his rythm so the "upset" will be with Martin
  • Featherweight bout:
    22px-Flag_of_the_United_States.svg.png
    Savant Young vs
    22px-Flag_of_Canada.svg.png
    Mark Hominick
  • Welterweight bout:
    22px-Flag_of_the_United_States.svg.png
    Mike Pyle vs
    22px-Flag_of_the_United_States.svg.png
    JJ Ambrose
  • Middleweight bout:
    22px-Flag_of_the_United_States.svg.png
    Justin Levens vs
    22px-Flag_of_the_United_States.svg.png
    Ray Lazama

Finally a response XD! I only picked Pedro Rizzo, because I dont like Barnett that much, on thing to nite is that Rizzo alrdy Tko'd Barnett, but eh that shouldn't affect the outcome. Im glad you agree with me that the old Vitor is gone :D, but I also feel the same about Arlokski, but it depends, either man could win.

Well thanks for your predictions, I picked Justin Levens cuz i feel bad for him XD.

Oh yeah, the old Belfort & Arlovski's have all gone sadly. But still I think Arlovski on a bad day can edge out a victory against Rothwell on a bad day.

I just hope Mirko hasn't seen his best day yet!

I agree, I just want Rothwell to win because he needs a damn win vs somebody whos a top tier fighter. Rothwell hasn't really fought anyone with a name, but its not really his fault, hes fought the best competition made available to him.

I'd like to see Mirko return to the UFC, a re-match vs Gonzaga is in order =D.
