Pokemon Diamond, don't buy it.

I purchased Pokemon Pearl because I no longer have any more Pokemon games and I wanted something to play whislt I bore the days away.

...You don't HAVE to complete the Pokedex may I just add to the person posting above SS...

I'm surprised at you all, I though it was a good game, yes lacking length, and story line(they never had a good story line anyway) but the pokedex is great, most of the new pokemon are great! but it was a huge step up for DS playing. I agree, this will be the last dex, but i and many others are hoping for a all in one game, all the regions, including orange islands

I doubt that it will be the last (or close), but it certainly wasn't as good as others were in their eras. Once more customization arises, as well as better multiplayer (perhaps actually being able to visit an online town of sorts, with other players wandering around.)

I still enjoy Pokemon a bit; however, my interest will be completely lost if the next generation doesn't add the new features that it could.

Yes i agree. The game is really dead. The story lines never change, and theres never any real action. The only think different about Gold/Silver/Crystal is the name, and a slight change in the Pokemon, and the the name of the game themselves. I've never bothered playing any games past thoughs so the rest I wouldn't know about, but I gonna assume the same. My dad plays them and he says they're all about the same story line.
The only game I think I've ever found interesting was yellow Version. I mean come on pikachu fallows you around.
Anyway I think the only really great thing about any of the games after red/yellow/blue is the graphic. They slowly got better, but the game it self just stayed were it's been.

I haven't played it, but I want to. The return of the day/night thing (which is what R/S/E lacked most!) looks intresting. But I agree with the new Pokemon, they just all look rehased and cringe worthy. Not many of the 3rd or 2nd generation were great either to be honest. Story doesn't bother me hugely, and the battle system is more or less fine from R/S/E. I probably will buy it eventually, not anytime soon though.

I suggest you play Pokemon Crater online just to try it out and if you like it then I guess you should buy the game if not then dont waste your money

But if you want something different, do not buy. DO NOT WANT, the worst thing about this game is the pokemon named Bidoof, which is a Rattata with a bad case of Piles

The brain power at Nintendo must be in decline. I wonder how they can justify placing those damn Bidoofs all over the ENTIRE world. They're everywhere! Despicable rodent.

Pokemon Diamond/Pearl was a disappointment. Overlooking the fact that it's the same stuff we've been getting for over decade, this game is simply poor. The new pokemon are pathetic...and the game's just plain boring.

Only the most hardcore pokemon fans should play this.

Rattata dipped in chocolate. No creativity.... Pathetic, they just changed the color of the little bastard and ripped his tail off... Simply pathetic.
