Platinum or original version??

Hey! I want to buy the FFVII game, but I'm not sure if I should get the Platinum or the original version? What is the difference?
Is the Platinum version better for playstation 2 or what?
I would really appreciate any help on this :3 Thanks!

There's no difference, Platinum status just means it's sold over a certain amount. Neither one of them are different in anyway in the game it's just the casing that's a little different.

There's no difference whatsoever, aside from with the platinum version, you get the silver on the case rather than the black and you dont get picture disks.

I dont like platinum versions because they look odd in my collection, and Im abit of a black label snob if Im honest ¬_¬

If youre not arsed about what it LOOKS like then just get whichever - there's no difference inthe actual game

Oh ,there's a FFVIII demo in the platinum version and thats about it.

Hmm, unless you're a "collective" person, go with the Platinum. The Original, due to the "classic" factor, now sells for like way more. I think you're looking at 100+ vs 60 bucks. ^^;;

I would get original as it would make everyone think I got it ages ago xD
But there's only a difference in some platinum games, but not FFVII
