So, the title is pretty specific... at least in regards of what monster were talking about. So anyways...

- Have you ever encountered them?
- And if you have, have you ever obtained a pink tail?

Well, those are the most important questions here, xD but feel free to comment on anything about these critters... even the annoying berserk status on your characters D=

But anyways, what about the chocobo music that plays when you fight them? xD I find it pretty weird but... oh well...

I've been fighting them for quite a while and I have obtained nothing, an ether2, an elixir, a ninja shuriken, and nothing else... no tail, D=

(and just in case, I'm playing SNES version)

I'm in the same situation, they're just too annoying.I'm at Lv.90 in save1, still haven't finished the namingway quest which is brutal and maybe have 1-2 onion equipment.
Treasure ability increases the chances though but i haven't touched the DS game for months, kinda boring after 15-20 hours only doing that..

It's more fun to master the snes and gba versions cuz you don't have to win the game 3 times perfectly in a row to master it which is in my opinion rather crazy :p

Nope. Of course I played on the SNES. I had originally considered getting all of the secret summons, and the pink tail and so on. But then it took me 4 straight hours of fighting goblins to get the goblin summon. After that I just said forget it.

I think Glass, Pink Tail, Imp summon, Bomb summon, ect are 1/64 chances. So yeah all I know about the pink tail is that you can fight them in the room but the encounter rate is so slow it could take an hour just to freely find one. The alternative to this is to use the item that insures a fight, I forget its name. Use them all and if no Pink Tail, reset and try again.

I've never even encountered a pink puff. Although, to be fair, I don't know where they spawn. I also have no desire to spend three days trying to get adamant armor, when grinding for a few hours will make me just as strong. Not to mention that I'm playing American SNES, so just getting to level 60+ will probably do the trick for Zeromus, along with getting the ultimate weapons for Edge, Kain, and Cecil.

I don't know. I usually have a pretty good tolerance for grinding (I played MapleStory for Christ's sake), but things like this just piss me off.

Nope. I've had the game since it was first released and I've never gotten it. It's a betch to get the puffs to appear then a 1/256 for the drop.
